# Share your contact card > Hand anyone your contact info with a QR code or a link, so they save your team number, and get their info back as a new lead. Source: https://averyiq.com/help/share-your-contact-card Updated: 2026-11-05 Your contact card is a page with everything someone needs to reach you: your team number, your cell, email, website, the areas you serve and a few words about you. Share it at a conference, after a showing or in your first text, and they can save you to their contacts in one tap. They can also send you their own info from your card. When they do, Avery adds them to People and puts a follow-up on your Today deck. ## 1. Set up your card Go to **More**, tap your name, then tap **Edit**. ![Your profile, with Edit circled at the top and the Your card block below your name, with Show QR and Share](https://averyiq.com/help/images/share-your-contact-card-1.png) Add what you want people to see: - **Photo**, your name and a **Title** (for example, "REALTOR® · Lic. #9541207"). - **Your cell**. To share only the team number, turn off **Show your cell on your card**. - **Website**. Your email is the one you sign in with. - **Birthday**: tap **Add** to put it in the contact people save. It never shows on your card's page. Turn off **Put your birthday on your card** to leave it out. - **Areas you serve**, **About you** and **Links** to your Instagram, Zillow reviews or anything else. - **Your link**: the end of your card's address, like go.averyiq.com/c/jordan-reyes. If you change it, the old link stops working. Tap **Save**. **Preview** shows your card first. ![The Phone section of your card: the team number listed first, Show your cell on your card switched on, and Your cell](https://averyiq.com/help/images/share-your-contact-card-2.png) > [!NOTE] > If your team has a team number, it's always listed first on your card. Calls > and texts to it come into AveryIQ, so anyone on your team can answer. ## 2. Show your QR code in person Tap **+**, then **Show QR**. (It's also under **More**, then **Your card**.) ![The + menu, with Show QR circled under Your card, beside Share card](https://averyiq.com/help/images/share-your-contact-card-3.png) Your QR code fills the screen, and the screen stays on. The other person points their camera at it and opens your card. ![Show QR: your name and title above a large QR code, with Share link and Edit card below](https://averyiq.com/help/images/share-your-contact-card-4.png) ## 3. Send your link Tap **+**, then **Share card**, to text, email or AirDrop your link, or copy it for your Instagram bio or email signature. ### In your first text to someone When you text someone for the first time, tap **Add your card** above the message box to add your link. When Avery drafts your first text to someone, she adds your card for you. It shows as **Your card** with **Remove**. Tap it to take the link out before you send. ### After a call with someone new When you hang up a call through AveryIQ with a number that isn't in People yet, AveryIQ asks **Text them your card?** Tap **Text card** to open a text to them with your card in it, ready to send, or **Not now** to skip. ![Text them your card?, with Not now and Text card, which is circled](https://averyiq.com/help/images/share-your-contact-card-5.png) ## 4. What the other person sees Your card opens in their browser. They can: - Tap **Save contact** to add you to their phone's contacts. Your team number is saved under your team's name, so your texts and calls show up as you, not an unknown number. - **Call**, **Text** or **Email** you straight from the page. - Send you their name, phone, email and a note, under **Send Jordan your info** (with your first name). ## 5. When they send you their info Avery adds them to People and shows that they came from your contact card. A follow-up shows up on your Today deck with what they told you. If they agreed to texts, it has a draft text from Avery: edit it if you like, then send it. If not, it's a card to call them.
