# Tell Avery about someone by voice

> Open a person's page, tap Speak and talk. Avery saves notes and profile updates and shows which of your words each came from.

The best details come out of conversations: a lease ending, a wedding, a
dog that needs a yard. Say them out loud once and Avery remembers them.

## 1. Open their page and tap Speak

Find the person in **People**, open their page, and tap **Speak**.

## 2. Just talk

No form and no order. Ums and ahs are fine. Stuck? Avery suggests things to
mention based on what she doesn't know yet. Tap **Done** when you're
finished.

## 3. See what changed

Back on their page, new details are marked **new**. Tap one to see the words
it came from.

Met someone new? Tap **+**, then **Voice note**, and tell Avery who you met,
how to reach them and what they're looking for.
